- Find a website with mods onto it. Some sites include Ludian Studio Forums and NexusMods.
- Choose the mod you want to install. Then, download the file and extort it in an empty folder.
- Now that you have the mod and a folder inside, the next step is to ensure you copy one file, more file must be within the file you’re adding. Drag and drop the file in the folder with the name mods inside the rim folder. Put it in the mod folder, do not copy and paste.
Tip: Before you download the mod, particularly if you download it directly (not from the Steam Workshop), you should first find out if it well-matched with the game version. Since RimWorld is a game in expansion and gets updated a lot, there are modifications in core files that mods could depend on. The RimWorld’s different versions are known as Alphas.
